The Role: Chief Impelist
We are seeking a bold, entrepreneurial leader to become our Chief Impelist, the architect of ImpelHubโs CRO ecosystem and growth pipeline.
You will build and mentor our CRO community, inspire partners, and turn the network into a lead-generating engine from the ground up. You will also set the standard for delivery, sponsor key client accounts, and personally step in for CRO engagements in the early stage.
This role offers substantial equity ownership, revenue overrides, direct service income, and lead-generation fees, giving you both immediate earning power and long-term upside.
We are looking for a builder, a visionary, entrepreneurial doer with proven experience in scaling revenue, energizing networks, and turning communities into pipelines.
What Youโll Do
- Energize the Network: Inspire CROs, partners, and allies to generate warm leads and referrals, and create incentives and playbooks for network-led growth.
- Build Community: Recruit, onboard, and mentor fractional CROs, set delivery standards, and lead best-practice sharing across the ecosystem.
- Win Clients: Personally sponsor high-value accounts and lead direct CRO work early on.
- Drive Revenue: Shape service packages, pricing, and deal structures, and participate in the financial upside of network-driven revenue.
- Lead Strategically: Partner with the exec team on GTM strategy, thought leadership, and platform innovation.
Time Allocation Expectations
These are initial expectations and may evolve as ImpelHub scales:
- Client Delivery: Approximately 10โ15% of your time in direct CRO engagements or executive sponsorship.
- Internal Work: Approximately 20โ30% of your time building processes, developing playbooks, recruiting and mentoring CROs, and supporting infrastructure.
- External Growth: The majority of your time, approximately 55โ70%, is dedicated to business development and network activation. This includes generating leads directly as well as inspiring and enabling CROs and partners to bring new opportunities into the ecosystem.
What Weโre Looking For
- 10+ years in revenue leadership (CRO, VP Sales/Marketing, or consulting).
- Experience scaling funded startups and scale-ups (sweet spot: $2Mโ$50M revenue).
- Proven success in network-driven or referral-based growth.
- A natural connector who knows how to turn relationships into pipeline.
- Strong grasp of sales, marketing, and revenue operations.
- Entrepreneurial drive, thrives in early-stage, high-opportunity environments.
- Clarity on role boundaries, working in sync with the Chief Impact Partner without overlap.

Compensation & Incentives
- Equity Ownership: A significant equity package, tied to clear growth milestones and structured for long-term alignment.
- Revenue Overrides: Ongoing percentage of revenue generated by the CRO network, including playbook sales, CRO retainers, studio projects, and referrals.
- Example: When CROs you onboard bring in new business, you receive an override.
- When partners in your network generate leads, you participate in the revenue.
- This creates an ongoing passive income stream as the network scales.

- Direct Service Income: Opportunity to lead CRO engagements directly in the early stage for personal revenue.
- Lead-Generation Fees: Earn fees for business you directly bring into ImpelHub, just like other CROs and partners.
- Future Leadership Compensation: As ImpelHubโs income stabilizes, this role will evolve into a base salary plus upside.
